About

Katerina is an artist, illustrator, designer and creative director who sees her mission in inspiring positive change through art. In her 20-year design career, she has worked with notable brands such as eBay, Kijiji, Disney, Hasbro, Lego, 500px, BMO, and many others. In 2014, she founded her own branding and design studio, “Oddbee,” which she continues to run to this day.

In 2017, she co-authored and published a book titled “Dating Vandalized,” based on her social experiment of outsourcing her online dating routine to a hired stranger. The experiment and the book have been covered by Toronto Star, Metro, Global News, CBC, and Buzzfeed. She was selected as a City Mogul in 2017, among Toronto’s most innovative and newsworthy entrepreneurs and influencers. In 2018, her illustration work was showcased at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto.

Originally from Siberia, Russia, Kat now resides in Canada. Here, she balances her time between commercial work, personal projects, and leading the Toronto chapter of “Draw By Night,” a collaborative drawing event that unites designers, illustrators, students, and all sorts of art enthusiasts.
